Tag-you're it!
Mianh 'tagged' me today. I'm supposed to tell you 8 things about me that you might not already know, so here's an 8 part share:
1. I'm really bad at thinking up nicknames, and I feel guilty about it, because I have 2 sisters and a great friend who think up really good nicknames all the time. They've given me cool nicknames like Stubs and Manchesterfieldington and I have given them nothing in return. Sorry ladies.
2. I love the way my skin smells after I've been out in the sun.
3. In grade 4 I kneed a classmate in the crotch. (I can't remember why, but that was not my best year, I think I've blocked some of it out.)
4. I'm freaked out/scared by the thought of eternity. I know my finite mind isn't really supposed to be able to comprehend eternity, but it would be nice if I could feel a bit more enthusiastic about it.
5. I still mostly prefer books written for teenagers or children to those written for adults.
6. I really like praying out loud with/for people, but am bad sometimes at initiating prayer times.
7. I like to know the answer to questions people ask me (so if you ask me something and I seem to be upset, its probably not with the question, but with myself for not knowing the answer). I think this is just another way of saying I like to be right and know everything. I love knowing things.
8. My room is messy.
And now, since I've been tagged my best across the world friend, I will pass the tag on to my best Kingston friend-you're it Sarah.

I followed M's link here...
I also mostly read children's books still. Have you read Diana Wynne Jones' Charmed Life? Or Susan Cooper's Dark is Rising sequence?
Love from Emma in England :-)

Emma, great to see you electronically! I haven't read the Susan Cooper book, nor that particular Dianne Wynne Jones, but I am in the middle of a book of short stories by Wynne Jones!

Ah ha! I've spotted you! Or rather your blog, while stalking Mianh I've followed you here. Hm...That sounds so wrong. Well glad to see you're alive and well.
Oh yeah do you even know who this is? Well here's a little hint for you, think graduated with you in Frontenac Secondary and someone sacastic. Did you figure it out yet? I guess that's not much to go by, I won't be offended if you don't get it right. Well happy guessing :)

Ding Ding, bingo! Nice guess, thanks for being a good sport about it, despite your dread of guessing games.
Drop me an e-mail sometime, I'd like to know some of the ongoing exploits of Joanna. Mianh could probably give you my contact.
