anticipation

My cold seems to be coming full circle-back to stage 1. I will resist describing that stage so as not to gross you out.
Katherine and I went sledding at Fort Henry this past Sunday. It was the first time I've ever been sledding in Kingston. (The only time I've been sledding since we moved here was once when I was visiting my brother at Ottawa U.) It was pretty exciting, and the old Pocahantas sleds held up beautifully. Katherine and I were pretty bad at steering, but thankfully we never ran anyone down-mostly because we'd pave our way with screams of "We have no control! We can't steer!" and so people would know to get the heck out of our way. The ride down was great, the climb back up the hill was a lung burner. They could definitely use a magic carpet.

Sledding may be the best thing about winter. Wendy and I went out near our place to this big hill that also called for an exercise class on the way up!

    I underestimated Katherine,
it seems that she will go to extroadinary lengths to get you sick so as to impeede your race for baby naming rights!
You will need to come back at her with some equally crafty ideas if you are to stay in the race Jo!

don't worry James - Jo has the *fertility* book!

. . . although let the record show, I am still backing Katherine for personal reasons . . .

um, excuse me? backing Katherine? care to explain?

Also, Katherine is sick and tired of me being sick...apparently she doesn't think I'm that much fun when I spend all day rubbing my sinuses and coughing all over the place, so I doubt this is her doing.
