Incan prince
Today wasn't quite as productive as I had hoped. Oh well. I added more finishing touches to my math assignment (thank goodness I didn't hand it in on Monday!), and did some research for Sam's and my English assignment and thought of a topic for my science unit. And I now have a bunch of good content for that unit thanks to talking it over with Mel after dinner.
Tomorrow night a friend of Kate's and a friend of mine are coming over for dinner. I love melding friend groups. I wish my Canadian friends could meet my Australian friends. If anyone back home feels like a trip to Oz this summer, just let me know!
I am feeling so soothed by the Bollywood movies I borrowed from Sapan. I love how long they go on for and the way things get resolved, and of course, the way they break out into song.
What should I bake for dessert tomorrow? Ginger snaps, macaroons, brownies, a cake? Too many yummy choices!

Hey Jo...
Nice to hear you say "Kingston" will be seeing you some time this summer :) I was beginning to wonder if we would...
When you do get back here I need you to show Brandon and I that "neat way" you learned to do "times tables" that you did not get into explaining on your blog because you said it would be too difficult :)
We are all doing well. Kate is excelling in grade 9... wish I knew were she got her "brains" from it sure was not from her mother... haha.
We now have 15 houses behind us! None on the property directly on our fence line but I expect there will be by summer...
We bought "Rummy O" after we saw it at your parents. Now we need to get over for a "lesson" the "Stolfa way" of playing.
Anyway, this is getting to be a "novel"
Take care,
Heather, Derek and kids

dear Jo,
I think you should also bake a chicken pot-pie and then mail it to me along with a Bollywood movie and an hour-long back massage.
note: super-powers may be required
love,
M
