Inquiring minds want to know
Survey time: how many photos is it reasonable to have developed after having spent a whole year away and having gone on lots of exciting trips?
Also, how many hours in a day is it reasonable to sleep?
Katherine and I have tentatively planned out our route from here to Cold Lake. Our first stop will be in Burk's Falls, where we'll spend the night with Sam (Canadian friend from Melbourne-it will be our first meeting on Canadian soil).

I'm guessing that there are not many folks who know where Burk's Falls is. Several of the municipal offices in the Burk's Falls area are our clients, as is the village itself. I was speaking with someone in the village just yesterday. Interesting coincidence. Well, at least a more interesting coincidence than if we were talking about Toronto. Okay, maybe not that interesting at all. But I have very little that is interesting to say. I didn't even have an interesting response to your survey questions. Sorry, that's the best I had.
HOWEVER, what IS very interesting is the Screaming Heads. If your buddy hasn't told you about them, insist that he takes you there for a visit. Truly a weird place. Take your camera. Better on Halloween. But spooky at any time. Don't miss it.

I'd say 1 photo for every day you were gone. And up to 15 hours is acceptable as long as you don't tell me and make me jealous.

My brother and his fiance live in Cold Lake (although neither works on the base :)). My sister and I are heading there en route to Edmonton for their wedding!

I say divide your photos into experiences that you had, and when showing them it won't seem like a hoard of pictures instead a sequence of special events...
As for sleep, well I once slept (this is before having babies etc) a total of 18 hours straight, this was in college and I was so tired cause I never slept usually in college, my parents thought I was dead, it was however the best sleep I can remember, I woke up feeling refreshed and rested LOL...
As for you, your still catching up on sleep so??? I say go for it, sleep as long as your body will let you, you need the rest...
Looking forward to seeing you today!!!
30 days and counting until Raphael is arriving!!!
Love,
Kel.

Answer to survey: Dont develop any of the photos, it would be cheaper to purchase a data projector and have them continuously cycling through on your wall. xox
