bonding

Here are some pictures from my trip to NZ to visit Mianh, Tyler, Noemi and Seder. Because I constantly forget how blogger presents my photos, they are not in chronological order. For example, here are Seder and Noemi keeping me company while I pack to leave:
In the Botanical Gardens in Wellington: proof of how much wetter it is in New Zealand-the vegetation is taking over the furniture.
Mianh and Seder making animals in the sand at the beach (which is also a road-speed limit 30 km/h, which I'm pretty sure some people were breaking).

Noemi enjoying the strong wind in her face at the beach :)

Noemi feeling suspicious about the miniature train ride I was taking her on, not knowing yet exactly how much she would hate it...about 20 seconds into the ride, she climbed into my lap and held on to me with a death grip for the rest of the ride...I hope it doesn't scar her too badly

A lovely father-son moment, Tyler playing the ukelele for Seder:

we saw the botenical gardens together! I'm pretty sure those were the roses that I was allergic too!
