Sunshine

Well, I've been assigned my first placement. I'll be in a grade 1/2 split at a school somewhat close to where I'll be living (although near and far is relative in this sprawling city). I hope there will be convenient public transportation. The thought of doing placements used to really petrify me, in fact, a couple of years ago the thought of them scared me so much I would rather have not gone to teacher's college than do a teaching round. Last night I had my first strange dream about my placement-not a nightmare, but not a good dream either. I need to just put it on the back burner for now as there's not much I can do to prepare at this point, and it doesn't start until October anyway. I've got plenty to get through before then, like about 10 assignments, my birthday, and a trip to Tasmania.
