Tom & Helen's first full day-part one
The dang pictures went up in the wrong order. Oh well. Yesterday morning my parents and I went to my campus to see where I go to school. After checking out the buildings and having lunch, we headed to the wildlife reserve to hopefully find some kangaroos-and we did! Here they are after they got startled by us.
Here they are as we found them, lounging in the shade. Don't worry the one lying down on the right isn't dead.
This is the picture that was meant to go first, my cute parents seeing their first kangaroos.
It was a tad hot (around 30 degrees). Its cooled down a lot today so that wearing jeans while I wait to get my legs waxed on Friday won't be quite so ridiculous.
Message from my mom: the kangaroos were cute, and one of the attacked Tom
Katherine, thanks for the babka bread-its great!

As we left the airport last night, it began to snow :)

WE GOT almost 2 FEET OF SNOW yesterday!!!it's almost all gone now but it was really cool to wake up to snow and it was nice and sunny all day(which was good cause it melted the snow on the driveway so I didn't have to shovel).

It should be against the blog god rules to talk about getting your legs waxed. Tell Tom I can relate to how he might feel about being attacked by a kangaroo. I was once attacked by a moose.
