Master and Commander
Writing briefly from Whakatane to let you know that my flu is over, and that I have seen 5 million beautiful things in the last couple of days. I have sat in thermal pools, put my feet in the Pacific, driven through a herd of sheep, gotten slightly tan, enjoyed the humidity, fed ducks out of my hand, seen glow worms...wow, we've packed a lot in. Tomorrow its down to Taupo, and then I'll head back to Wellington where Mianh and I will say goodbye and I'll meet up with Sam. Oh my gosh, Mianh and I only have two more days together!

. . . and you say it like it's a bad thing~!
I kid, I kid. . . (for the rest of you - know that sometimes at the end of a long day Jo likes her solitude and I like to harass anyone within earshot with inanities. Good combo, neh?)
You're the bestest winding road travel companion ever, bum cupping notwithstanding ;)

wow! This makes me miss NZ soo much!! We lived just outside of Taupo for 2 and a half months - we´ve definitely left part of our hearts there. Glad to hear you´re feeling better - keeping loving NZ!!
