ah, children!

Here's a picture for you since I haven't posted one in so long. This is a stuffed wombat that was on the floor of the info station/gift shop in Freycinet National Park in Tasmania. Enjoy the creepiness, and thank you Brian for getting right down on the floor to take this lovely photo.

I was back to primary school today and it was lovely! The class was happy to see me back. After recess, one of the girls told me that the whole class was "proud" to have me back. We spent the last hour of the day making cards. I am the proud recipient of five halloween cards with monsters and creepy messages as well as one card with a lady, flower and present. My favorite message (with "I am gona sukc your blod" coming in a close second") is "BOO HI HI HI HI HI To: Guwan" Seeing how kids spell by sounding out really makes you think about how we pronounce things. (I will be adopting Guwan as my bowling name for the forseeable future, Jonasty having finally been one-upped.)

Back to the lesson planning!
