new house

My two days off are going fairly well. I feel like I should be getting more school work accomplished, but oh well...
Tonight I'll be going to see the show my house-mate Kate is in in Melbourne's Fringe Festival. It's supposed to be happy and funny, and not too late of a night, which is perfect, since I have a workshop I'm going to at church tomorrow at 8:30 about mentoring. And then I'll be doing a group project with Heather and Sam, who it will be nice to spend time with after a week apart.

Mel, Kate and I have got a new house. We'll get the keys next Wednesday, and move in next Saturday. Its a bit smaller than where we are now, so I'll be spending as much time enjoying my giant bedroom this week as possible! The house is in the same neighborhood, about the same distance from the train station, but closer to the shops, and closer to school.

Its another lovely sunny day here. I went for a walk with Kate in the parkland near our house, and took my laptop outside for a bit this morning to enjoy the great weather.
