Procrastination

I just used Aphra's chicken recipe for supper. It was very good. (Thanks Aphra) I'm already looking forward to eating the leftovers tomorrow night :) Part of what made it so good was the ketchup, so I'll have to see if I can find some more ketchup packets somewhere on campus tomorrow...

What do you guys think the purpose of school is? That's my essay topic, and we're supposed to have researched some theorists ideas, along with expressing some of our own views. I'm looking at people like Howard Gardner (the man behind the idea of multiple intelligences), Edward de Bono (Six Thinking Hats) and Benjamin Bloom (Bloom's taxonomy). These three all have in common a big emphasis on teaching kids how to think and develop understanding. And their theories are all important to the school I'll be doing my first placement in, so I thought if I wrote my essay on them, I'll know what my supervising teacher is talking about when I'm working with her in October. I wish we had to write a rhyme about the purpose of school instead of an essay, which I should go work on right now. Bye!
