I have heard the kookaburras laugh

So, strangely, its been about a week since I've gotten any junk mail at my Hotmail account. Good job at blocking it, hotmail!

I bought an orange shirt today that I'm not so sure of. It's got puffy little cap sleeves that seem a bit pumpkiny. But I'm trying to be braver in my clothing choices. I wasn't feeling very good about my haircut yesterday, it was looking very '80s rocker, but today I've got clips holding it back at the sides and its looking way better. I am becoming so stylish, you won't even recognize me when I get back to Canada! (as if...I still wear flip flops and pyjamas whenever I can...)

Today was lovely, sunny, and hot :) And I saw two kookaburras! And I filled out tenancy application forms. I went house-hunting yesterday with Kate, one of my soon-to-be housemates, and will be seeing another place Tuesday night with Mel, the other future housemate. I got boxes from my pastor and his wife this evening so that I can start packing up my stuff before I go to Tasmania. Or just so that I can have some collapsed cardboard boxes in my room until I get back from Tasmania. We'll see.

Time to go read library books!
