panic
Last night while Hugh and I were going for a walk, Hugh pointed out a very cute possum sitting above us on the telephone wire. I guess seeing possums is the one remotely good thing about daylight savings. (They're nocturnal, and thanks to the time change, it was pretty much fully dark at 7 pm!)
Well, my holidays are almost done. I got every single RE lesson planned for this term, but ignored a few other things I should have been working on-like housework and advance planning I could have been doing for kid's club. I'm trying to remind myself that I didn't have to get ALL of those things finished, because I do have free time still after the holidays are over.
Hugh is only a week away from his 2 day 100 km walk! He is swinging between resigned acceptance, and hypochondriac worries that his ankle and hip still haven't healed properly after he injured himself a few weeks ago. I am officially stopping being sympathetic about anything for the next week so that I've got lots of sympathy available for him while he's doing the actual walk.
