I wish that there was an international two week holiday while the Olympics are on. This is one time where the time difference actually works in my favor though-all the live stuff is shown in the mornings here, when I'm mostly home and able to watch. Hurray for Canada's second gold this morning!!!!!!
I really enjoyed the opening ceremonies (the first one I've watched the whole way through) and it was great at church the next day to have everyone excited to talk to me about them :) I'm wearing my Vancouver 2010 pin every day, and the Canadian Olympics t-shirt my parents gave me as much as possible. And I am not cheering for any Australians.

Last week Lyndall, Avalyn, Tiana and I met up with Kate at a lavendar farm. I tried the lavendar shortbread-quite good, but every time I burped for the rest of the day, it tasted of lavendar.
