goose on the go

Erika gave Hugh this lovely goose for Christmas that was part of a contest at Waterloo University. You were supposed to take pictures of the goose in cool places and send them in. I took this lovely picture of the goose resting in the sand dunes at Himatangi Beach in New Zealand and sent it in only to find out the competition had ended the week before. Gar. Our plan for a sure to win picture was to find a dead kangaroo by the side of the road and get a picture of it with the goose. Oh well, I guess it's not actually a bad thing that we now don't need to carry out that plan.
