This pretty yellow bird sat outside our sliding door for hours a couple of days ago, not even moving when we walked in and out of the door. We were a bit afraid it was sitting there waiting to die, but it eventually left. It had probably flown into the glass doors and was sitting there stunned. Here's Sarah, looking gorgeous on the dock at the Thousand Islands Playhouse last night as we waited to see Anne and Gilbert the Musical.
The show was great, and I'm wishing I wasn't in the middle of the Harry Potter series cause last night would have been a great start to an Anne of Green Gables kick. I bought the soundtrack and now Katherine will get to sing along to it with me the whole way to Edmonton :)

Katherine and I are leaving tomorrow and after saying goodbye to my parents and Erika (heading to Waterloo for the new school year), we did our grocery shopping for the trip. We hadn't planned on buying any pop, but that was before we knew about the "$4.00 for a milk crate of pop cans" deal.
We're pretty stoked about our 37 cans, and about our new milk crate :)

The shop selling the pop must have been in league with the local dentist. new dentist marketing ploy :)
