Sorry for the long absence. Let me catch you up on what you've missed:
-our trip to Canada ended well
-my parents' stay here in Melbourne was great
-summer vacation ended and I went back to work at the tutoring centre four afternoons a week
-I'm volunteering again, teaching religious education at 2 local schools, and helping run a kid's club at my church
-I got a second part time job, working as "literacy support" in a grade 2 classroom four mornings a week. Of the jobs I've had, it is hands down the most pay for the least effort on my part.
-I finally found a school holiday job (here in Australia, kids (and me) get two weeks off between terms)-so now during the school holidays, I work part time at a school holiday program at a university
