Even though it is nice and warm outside, our house is cold due to the lack of direct sun...I'm sure we'll appreciate this on 40 degree days, but right now its a pain. I want to be warm and wear t-shirts and skirts no matter if I'm inside or out!
Last night we went to a pub to celebrate Hugh's cousin's birthday. It was good to see some of Hugh's family who we don't see very often-especially since we won't get to see them at Christmas. And, I had the self-control to order something off the menu that didn't come with french fries-a sign of maturity I think :)
Last week I had a Stampin' Up party. We made a couple of Christmas cards, which was an excellend excuse to listen to Christmas music and put up some decorations. It's all been put away again, but it was a great teaser!
The grocery stores actually have carving pumpkins available this year...but they cost about $26 each. I think that sounds crazy expensive-although I don't really remember how much they cost in Canada. One store is marketing "carving" watermelons beside their pumpkins for a lot cheaper...maybe I'll give that a shot this Halloween.

I think that pumpkins are so expensive because they are shipped from North America! Carve a watermelon, mmmmm.

Want to be warm and wear T-shirts and skirts? Come to Canada. It's beautiful today. Of course, by the time you get here, it will be freezing cold. But, still, it's nice today!
