I touched a baby today!
Hi everybody. (Hi Dr. Nick!) I wish Mianh was here to give me a neck massage. My muscles are tight all over. I've been trying to stretch more. I need a bit more discipline and routine, maybe. What I really need is decisiveness.
I've booked my ticket to go to Tasmania for 5 days during our September holiday. I don't really know what's in Tasmania, but I hope its fun.
Today I made gingersnaps. It was the first time I've baked since I got here. It killed me to waste money by buying the smallest bag of flour, but I did it, and my back thanked me. I think I've figured out my optimal grocery shopping location, in a mall that's a 10 minute train ride from here. I like taking the train, I think its my favorite form of public transport here. (The others being buses and trams.) The mall also has dollar stores, a K-Mart, Target and a craft store with a good yarn selection.
Tonight my hands look about 15 years older than me. Time to moisturize, or start wearing my gloves, or wear gloves when I'm washing my dishes, or I don't know what. You see the indecisiveness problem?
Last night I got to take part in the Australian Census. I am now an official part of Australian history. In 99 years, someone will be able to study me, and my place in Australia. Cool, eh? Or is that the kind of thing only a historian would get excited about?
P.S. The m&m is still there, still tempting.

What do you mean you don't know what is in Tasmania? Tasmanian devils, obviously. Watch out.
P.S. Carolyn, Sarah, Paul and Tara are in the office with me. Sarah wants to know if Dr. Nick is code for your new boyfriend. My assumption is it is Dr. Nick from the Simpsons. Carolyn says she misses you. Love ya!

Bob, you are right. It is Dr. Nick from the Simpsons. Sarah, I will tell you the minute I have a boyfriend, you won't have to decode anything from my blog. (Although wouldn't it be great to have a hot Australian doctor boyfriend?) Carolyn, I miss you too!

I'd love to have a hot Australian doctor to call my own as well!
Perhaps we need to start hanging out around the med school ...
Your cookies were fabulous - helped me get through the math test! Thanks eh?!
Cheerio.
