long weekend!

Mel is taking Kate and I to Clifton Springs for the weekend, where her mum and grandma live next door to each other in a very Butleresque situation. The anticipated highlight of the weekend: finally meeting Mel's fat cat. Plus Mel's mum and grandma are great fun, and probably they'll cook for us, and there are great second hand stores where they live (which is perfect, cause what I really need is more stuff to bring back to Canada with me...at the rate I'm going I think I might end up having to wear about 10 layers of clothes on the plane ride home to save space in my suitcases).
