the great debate

Reading Lesley's blog tonight, I was reminded of a debate Erika and I had yesterday that I thought I would let you weigh in on. The question is this: do you think there are any good looking guys who play the banjo? I think there are banjo-playing-good-looking-men out there, while Erika thinks attractiveness and banjo-playing are mutually exclusive. What do you think?

    I think that attraction is subjective, and I believe that there are Banjo playing men who have wives or girlfriends whatever... so they can be attractive.
    I googled "attractive banjo player" (without the quotes) and found this link - http://www.fotolia.com/id/1542009
    (however it is not a man with a banjo)

    i happen to know a really great looking guy who got a banjo for his birthday this summer... and he's very musically inclined so he's likely an accomplished banjo player by now... of course, since attractiveness is in the eye of the beholder you may disagree with me.

    pish posh people-stop trying to sound nice. a decent attractive man wont be playing the banjo because he knows it aint cool

    i think the right guy and the right banjo they would compliment each other nicely. a banjo might even push a regular looking guy over the edge into "attractive".

    i think banjo playing is very cool. it all depends on what you consider cool i suppose.

    If you just google banjo players- images...i think it's pretty conclusive, although it's much more about who they are not what they play!

    Aww Jo, reading Bec's posts below made me homesick for you guys and our Office watching time at Wilson's Prom! I didn't google Banjo players images, but I'm Katherine thinking your stereotypical banjo players are likely to be pretty daggy looking!
