milk in bags!
I can't believe I'll be back in Canada in a week and two days...I think that Melbourne is trying to make me sad about going by having foggy mornings three days in row this week (fog is one of my favorite mildly cold weather phenomenons) followed by crisp sunny days. But this lovely weather has not succeeded-I can't wait for some Canadian springtime :) Our house here doesn't have central heating-there's a gas heater in the family room and we have an electric one in the bedroom that keep those two rooms warm, but the kitchen hasn't gotten above around 15 degrees in while, and is more commonly around 10. Cooking is less fun than normal. I can't wait to cook (and be cooked for) in my parents kitchen (whose completed renovations I haven't seen in person yet).
Hugh and I will be arriving in Kingston on June 1st, sticking around for most of the month except for a 6 day road trip with my parents, and we're heading west on the 29th of June to spend a few days with Chris and Jenn.
Hugh's and my friend Bec left for Canada on Friday-she's spending a month travelling around the country and will be the token Aussie at our Canadian wedding-she did the reading at our wedding here, and will be doing one of the readings at our second wedding.
Can't wait to see you all VERY soon!
