hurray for holidays!

Random thought: in the predictive text on my cell phone, it never predicts "hurray".

Everything on the weekend went really well. The children's carnival was great fun and had a huge turnout.

I am now finished everything, and am a lady of leisure. I have read one and a half library books so far, as well as doing laundry, weeding (a tiny bit), napping, having a visit from Lyndall and Avalyn, dropping in to Hugh's office to bring him his cell phone, etc etc. I managed to fit a lot into my first day of vacation.

This morning I've got a Christmas party to go to for the Tuesday morning women's Bible study at my church, and then this afternoon I will finish up my Christmas cards. Maybe while I watch a Christmas movie :)
