I thought the previous post was getting long enough, so I'm adding pictures separately here. This is the University Lodge, the residence I'm staying in. My room is on the first floor, and I think my window is the one to the right of the palm tree. Pretty eh?

Unfortunately my room isn't quite so pretty. While it isn't quite as messy as it looks in these 2 pictures, having only two closeable drawers, and the rest of the storage space open and exposed lends to a generally untidy look. I'll be looking for somewhere else to live when my 3 months are up if not before.

This tree is my favorite on the way to school, so gnarled and spread out.

A sink from a bathroom on campus. Instead of soap dispensers, some of the bathrooms have little bars of soap (look to the left of the hot water tap).

Um. Some of us are old enough that we remember the days when there were ONLY little bars of soap. There was no such thing as a soap dispenser.

    HI hi hi hi hi!!!!
It's been weeks since we've been online and I've been dying to catch up with your blog!
Your room looks cute...hey! you used to live in an itty bitty room on the ship...you must be getting claustrophobic in your old age. Did i spell that right? I miss you sooooooooo much I can barely stand it. There was a Rustle meeting tonight and I kept thinking, great, I'm going to church, I'll see Jo...but alas, no Jo.
love, love, love from all of us
