when the fruit becomes wine

At Lemoine's Point this week, Katherine and my mum and I saw lots of chickadees and nuthatches feeding on seed that had been left on stumps and logs. I got some cute pictures, but unfortunately, the birds are really small, and so maybe you can't see the chickadee in this picture very well. We also saw a deer! Yesterday I had Elijah and Raphael over for a play. While Katherine and Elijah played his version of Rummi Cube, I took pictures of Raphael :)
In the car seat, Raphael's right eye valiantly tried to stay awake even after his left eye had succumbed.
