After a long dry spring and summer where I never thought twice about hanging my clothes out to dry in case it rained, my second load of clothes has gotten a special extra rinse from Mother Nature. It seems that Melbourne winter has arrived, at least temporarily.
I'm feeling pretty drained, and think I'm finally crashing after the intensity of the teaching round.
I had a really good talk with my mum a couple of days ago where she helped me to see some things more clearly, and in a more compassionate and Godly way. And this morning as I unburdened myself to Kate, she was able to help me adjust my perspective. I'm so grateful to have people in my life who challenge me and don't just pander to my emotions and opinions.
