Another beautiful weekend. Yesterday Katie and Bec were great tour guides, taking me to the local museum, the beautiful Catholic cathedral, a winery, and two beaches. We finished off the day watching the sunset and eating hot chips. The sunset was absolutely gorgeous-I hope that at least a couple of the five trillion photos I took will do it justice. The weekend has totally lived up to my expectations. I just have one lesson plan to type up, and another to type up and create a worksheet for and then this evening I'll chillax in front of the tv and try to make myself go to bed VERY early.
Here's an Australian food to try: white bread with butter and colored sprinkles (aka 100's and 1000's). Seriously, kids have it in their lunches here.

It's a Dutch thing too. I had it when I was a kid. The Dutch call it 'hagelslag' or something like that, I think.
