I can't wait for the next Olympics...probably because it's winter here, and so it feels like the right season for them to happen. I bought a pin to wear that has one of the cute mascots while I was in Canada, but I feel like it's a bit early to start wearing it-it was a bit of a shock when I realized recently that the games are actually more than 6 months away still. A couple of days ago, I had one of my students do some computer research, and when he couldn't think of a topic, I made him look at the Vancouver 2010 website :) Since I've been thinking about the Olympics alot, I asked some other students if they knew where the next ones were going to be held and they said London, thinking of the summer Olympics. The next day I was doing trivia questions in the paper and it asked the same question and gave the same answer! Australia doesn't seem to care very much about the winter Olympics...I hope the tv coverage is good anyway. (By the way, the Olympic Torch will be in Kingston on December 14th if you'd like to mark that on your calendars.)

I sat next to the duchess at tea

do you think rumbling abdominals means she had a rumbly noisy tummy, or that she was farting?
