caylus

It's been an overly busy month. I added working Saturday mornings to my schedule, and it was my turn to be teaching Sunday school, and I started helping out at a bookshop one morning a week. It was too much, and had me thinking I should maybe work full time next year just so I don't overload myself with a million different things. But I decided in the end I like my current job and two of my volunteer things too much. So I just need to say no more, and have a very clear picture in my head of what I can and cannot handle in terms of how I spend my time. I've gotten myself into a trap of always feeling like I have no down time, even when I actually do-more of an attitude issue than an actual time issue.

It's less than two months until our lease is up on the house Hugh and I are renting. We need to decide whether to stay here or move on, which leads to the consideration of a bunch of different possibilities. One thing that this house had done for me is to teach me some of the things I REALLY want in a house, like insulation and not having the bedrooms right off of the family room.

Hugh is getting our complicated new board game out so that we can try it for the first time...medieval France castle building here we come!

I think you should move your stuff to Canada and settle here! Just saying. As impossible as that is at the moment. You and I both need to learn that NO word and stick it to our butts:)
